Description
The Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee 749 is seen here in the Summer of 1953, surging across the Chicago and Northwestern at Ryan Road, South of Milwaukee. 749 was built in 1928 by Pullman, and in 1963 would be preserved as the only survivor of the 1928 CNS&M Pullmans. It is of course preserved at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL.
